It is well-known that the stock Turbo Inlets for the McLaren 720S/765LT are made of plastic and feature an internal red silicone coupling, which is prone to failure under high boost, potentially damaging the turbocharger. Recognizing this issue, we have developed an exact replica of the factory plastic Turbo Inlets using silicone reinforced with polyester, ensuring a perfect fit. Silicone is an ideal material for this application as it resists cracking (unlike the factory plastic pipes) and mitigates any potential overheating issues. We have also removed the standard internal baffle and silicone coupling. Taking it a step further, we incorporated steel wire into the design to ensure that the hoses do not collapse under high vacuum for those pushing their 720S/765LT to the limits.
These Turbo Inlets from Steso Performance, specifically designed for the McLaren 720S and 765LT, are direct replacements for the factory parts. The inclusion of metal nipples for stock installation further simplifies the installation process.
